Ka shkuar në 38 numri i të vdekurve nga tërmeti i fuqishëm, i cili goditi Italinë gjatë natës së kaluar.

Mediat italiane raportojnë se në mesin e viktimave janë edhe dy fëmijë, transmeton gazeta Kosova Sot Online.

Tre tërmete të forta kanë goditur gjatë natës Italinë qendrore. I pari dhe më i forti me magnitudë 6.2 ballë i shkallës Rihter është regjistruar rreth orës 03:36 rreth dy km nga qyteti i Accumolit dhe 10 km nga Arquata del Tronto dhe Amatrice.

Të mbijetuarit kanë përshkruar skena apokaliptike '' në qytete dhe fshatra në afërsi të qytetit të Perugia - kryeqytetin turistik në rajonin Umbrian, i cili është veçanërisht I njohur për pushuesit britanikë.

Ekipet e shpëtimit kanë tërhequr nga disa nga rrënojat, por ende mund të dëgjohen zëra nga poshtë.

Epiqendra e tij ishte në Norcia në Umbria, rreth 105 milje në verilindje të Romës, ndërsa qytetet më të goditura janë raportuar: Amatrice, Accumoli dhe Pescara del Tronto.

Kryetari i Accumoli, Stefano Petrucci, tha këtë mëngjes: "Qyteti im nuk ekziston më".

Viktimat e para të tërmetit shkatërrues ishin një çift i moshuar, shtëpia e të cilit u rrëzua në Pescara del Tronto, në rajonin Marche, rreth dhjetë milje nga epiqendra.

Poashtu, një familje katër anëtarëshe, duke përfshirë edhe një fëmijë tetë muajsh dhe vëllai i tij, nëntë, janë raportuar të vdekur në qytetin e Accumoli.
